Pay BillBMSS Advisors & CPAs is pleased to share that Jamey Carroll, CPA, a Member in the firm’s Huntsville office, has received the E. Lamar Reeves Lifetime Member Award from the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA).
The E. Lamar Reeves Lifetime Member Award is the highest recognition given by the ASCPA and honors CPAs who have demonstrated outstanding service and dedication to the accounting profession. Carroll’s recognition reflects more than two decades of professional leadership, client service and meaningful involvement with the ASCPA and the broader CPA community.
Jamey became a Member of BMSS in 2016 and consults with businesses and individual clients across a variety of industries, including construction, governmental, manufacturing and emergency services. He provides accounting and tax solutions for his clients and also helps lead the firm’s employee benefit plan audit team.
Throughout his career, Jamey has been actively involved with the ASCPA, volunteering with numerous task forces and serving in several leadership roles. His service has included chapter involvement, staffing, continuing professional education and leadership academy initiatives. He has also served as a past Chair of the ASCPA Board of Directors, past President of the Young CPA Board, Huntsville Chapter Representative, past Nominations Committee Member and past Education Foundation Board Member.

A graduate of Athens State University, Jamey earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting before receiving his Master of Accountancy from Auburn University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where he serves as a Council Representative, and is also involved with the Huntsville Committee of 100. In 2007, he was named Outstanding Young CPA in Alabama.
