Pay BillHUNTSVILLE, Ala. – BMSS Advisors & CPAs is pleased to share that Cheyenne Sandlin, CPA, a Manager in the firm’s Huntsville office, has been named the 2026 recipient of the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants’ (ASCPA) Outstanding Young CPA Award.
The ASCPA Outstanding Young CPA Award recognizes outstanding service on the Young CPA Board to the accounting profession and the Society. Sandlin’s recognition reflects her continued leadership, dedication to service and commitment to strengthening the CPA profession in Alabama.
This marks the second time Cheyenne has received the award, having also been recognized as the ASCPA Outstanding Young CPA in 2024. Her continued involvement with the ASCPA demonstrates her commitment to serving the profession while supporting the next generation of CPA leaders.
Cheyenne joined BMSS as a staff accountant in 2019 after interning with the firm in 2018. In her role as Manager, she provides assurance services to a wide variety of clients and approaches each project with care, focus and an understanding of the trust clients place in the BMSS team.

A native of Madison, Alabama, Cheyenne earned both her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accountancy, summa cum laude, and her Master of Accountancy from Auburn University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA).
