SuraLinkIntuit has announced several product updates coming up over the next year or so. If you use QuickBooks Desktop, this may impact you!
Intuit made a decision that after September 30, 2024 it will no longer be selling new subscriptions to U.S. subscribers of the following products:
- QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Mac Plus
- QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll
If you already have a subscription to one of these products, the September 30, 2024 cutoff does not apply to you. This is only for new subscribers. If you intend to purchase one of these products, you need to do so before September 30, 2024.
- Pro and Premier:
- 2021 is no longer supported as of Friday, May 31, 2024.
- 2022 and 2023 will continue to be supported with the cutoff TBD.
- 2024 cannot be purchased after September 30, 2024 but CAN still be downloaded by anyone with an active Pro or Premier subscription, and Intuit recommends that you download the latest version.
- Intuit has not yet announced how long they will support Pro and Premier
- Enterprise:
- 2021 is no longer supported as of Friday, May 31, 2024.
- 2022, 2023, and 2024 will continue to be supported, and 2024 will still be able to be purchased until 2025 is released.
