Born and raised in the Birmingham area, Mark graduated from the University of Alabama, and currently resides in Hoover with his wife, Kayla, and their three children. He and Kayla are active members of Hunter Street Baptist Church.

“It’s really special to watch one of our employees grow from a staff accountant right out of college to who Mark is today,” said BMSS CEO and Founding Member Don Murphy. “He has grown up in BMSS’ tax area, become one of our brightest leaders, and is now leading our transaction advisory area. An equally big plus is that he is a genuinely nice person; we are thrilled for Mark to be a Member.”
