Dalton joined BMSS in 2021 and leads the firm’s Business Valuation and Forensic Accounting practice from the Gadsden office. He brings a strong background in forensic accounting, with experience in financial investigations, litigation support, and both federal and commercial disaster recovery efforts.
Dalton is known for his thoughtful and steady approach, helping clients navigate complex and unfamiliar situations by minimizing risk and uncovering opportunities. He has testified as an expert witness and provides a wide range of services, including business valuations for estate and gift tax matters, shareholder disputes, and forensic accounting engagements involving fraud investigations, asset tracing, economic damages, and litigation support.
A proud Gadsden native, Dalton’s life centers around his daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys cheering them on in their sports activities, spending time with family at the lake, and supporting Alabama football on Saturdays in the fall.
