Wendy LaceyCPA

Wendy Lacey, CPA, is a Member in BMSS’s Birmingham-Riverchase office who specializes in State and Local Tax (SALT) services. She joined BMSS in 2023 and brings more than 30 years of public accounting experience, including 11 years as a partner at another Alabama-based firm.

Wendy helps large, multistate businesses address state tax compliance, planning, nexus, and research matters. She has experience serving clients in the manufacturing and distribution, private equity and venture capital, professional services, and technology and software industries. Known for her responsive approach, Wendy helps clients understand complex state tax requirements and identify practical strategies for managing their obligations.

Wendy lives in Birmingham and enjoys spending time with her husband, David, and their three adult children. Her favorite thing about Birmingham is that it has a small-town feel with big-city opportunities.
