Tyler Crawford

Tyler Crawford joined BMSS in 2011 as a staff accountant and now serves as the leader of the firm’s data integration and automation team. His career has combined public accounting with a growing focus on technology, data integration, and process automation. Drawing on experience building data systems for Auburn University, Tyler brings a strong technical foundation to his work helping organizations connect fragmented data and automate the workflows that surround it – increasingly with AI augments wherever it adds real leverage.

At BMSS, Tyler has helped modernize the firm’s audit processes, beginning with the implementation of MindBridge AI in its audit practice. Since then, he has led the development of internally built software—custom applications that integrate the firm’s data and automate the workflows behind its core operations—giving teams purpose-built tools that off-the-shelf products can’t match. By combining his knowledge of accounting, information technology, and data analytics, he delivers the tooling and reporting management teams need to make timely, data-driven decisions.

An Alabama native, Tyler grew up in Chelsea and now resides in Auburn with his wife, Ashyln, and his five kids. In his free time, Tyler enjoys playing sports with his kids and friends from church or creating anything, whether that be music, art, or custom built applications.
