Ryan CarterCPA

Ryan Carter, CPA, joined BMSS in 2020 and serves as a senior manager in the assurance department of the firm’s Birmingham-Riverchase office. He provides audit, review, and compilation services to clients across a range of industries, with particular experience serving manufacturing and distribution businesses, as well as technology and media companies. Before joining BMSS, Ryan spent four years with Deloitte in Atlanta.

Goal-oriented and determined, Ryan follows the philosophy of the Navy Seals, “Anything worth doing is worth over-doing.” Ryan is heavily involved with the manufacturing and distribution niche at BMSS by helping organize events and create relationships with leaders in this industry. He is also an active member of the BDO Alliance manufacturing and distribution group and is a group leader for the round tables. He specializes in team building and strives to set and achieve goals as a team member and leader.

Ryan lives in Birmingham with his wife, Megan, their two sons, and their black lab. He loves to play golf, basketball and is a huge fan of Auburn sports.
