Rachel BowersCPA

Rachel Bowers, CPA, joined BMSS’s Huntsville office in 2011 and serves as a senior manager in the firm’s audit department. She performs financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in the federal government contracting and construction industries, as well as for employee benefit plans.

Rachel has particular experience with employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs), defined contribution 401(k) plans, and federal government contractors. She is known for her technical knowledge and practical approach to helping clients address audit and financial reporting requirements.

Rachel was born in Memphis and grew up in Athens, Alabama, where she lives today with her husband, Blue, and their two children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, and being outdoors.
