Kristi CericeCPA

Kristi Cerice, CPA, joined BMSS in 2005 and brings nearly 30 years of accounting and management experience. As a senior manager located in Birmingham, she specializes in estate and trust administration, tax compliance, and related tax planning, helping clients navigate complex estate and trust matters with a proactive approach. Kristi also prepares and reviews business and individual income tax returns, supervises staff, responds to IRS tax notices on behalf of clients, and provides estate planning services.

Described as kind, friendly and responsible, Kristi attributes her success at work to having a strong faith and a great support system in her family. She also credits her strong work ethic that her parents instilled in her growing up. Kristi grew to know and understand the accounting profession early on, having a father who was an accountant and working as a bookkeeper for two years in college. During those college years, Kristi wanted to pursue a major that would truly challenge her and found that accounting was the right fit.

Kristi grew up in Cullman, Alabama, and now resides in Hoover, Alabama, where she enjoys a strong sense of community. Kristi is married to her husband, Emilio, and they have one child. When not at the office, Kristi enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling and spending time with family. She is a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church.
