Jennifer Mayfield

Jennifer Mayfield, CPA, is a senior manager in BMSS’s Birmingham office, specializing in tax services for individuals and businesses. Since joining BMSS in 2013, she has primarily served manufacturing and technology businesses, combining technical expertise with practical, client-focused guidance to help clients navigate complex tax issues. Jennifer is also an active member of the firm’s State and Local Tax (SALT) area, where she provides income tax compliance and consulting services for multi-state businesses.

Prior to joining BMSS, Jennifer developed a foundation in tax and accounting at a local Troy, Alabama accounting firm, where she focused on bookkeeping services for small businesses. Her combination of technical knowledge, work ethic, and genuine commitment to client success defines her approach to every engagement. Jennifer is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.

A native of Odenville, Alabama, Jennifer currently resides in Pell City. She enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. Jennifer also has a passion for travel, with a goal of visiting all the U.S. National Parks.
