Jason Harkins started Payroll & Benefit Solutions (PBS) in March of 2005 as its Managing Member. Jason’s primary responsibilities include operations management, business development and client relationship management. Prior to joining PBS, Jason worked with Compass Bank for eight years in their Commercial Lending and Auditing areas and also in the healthcare industry holding various positions in mergers & acquisitions, finance and operations areas.

Jason and his wife, Nikki, have two children and three grandchildren. He graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Jason is an active member of Mountain Brook Baptist Church, where he and Nikki teach a young married Sunday School class and lead a marriage enrichment ministry.  Jason enjoys playing golf and supporting Auburn sports teams. Jason is on the local advisory board for SmartBank and Pine Tree Golf & Country Club.
