Hannah AveryCPA

Hannah Avery, CPA, is a senior manager in BMSS’s Birmingham office. She joined the firm as an intern in 2013 and provides tax advisory and compliance services to businesses and individuals. Her industry experience includes manufacturing, technology, professional services, real estate, and private equity.

Known for her reliability, dedication, and client-focused approach, Hannah helps clients navigate tax requirements while supporting their broader business goals. She was drawn to the profession by the belief that “accounting is the language of business.”

Hannah grew up in Evergreen, Alabama, and Bentonville, Arkansas, before returning to Birmingham, where she lives with her husband, John, and their son and daughter. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, spending time with her dogs, and traveling. Her travels have taken her to Australia, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
