Greg BarnesCPA

Greg Barnes, CPA, is a Member in BMSS’s Huntsville tax department, where he also holds management responsibilities for technology. He joined the Huntsville office in 2016 and brings more than 23 years of experience in tax planning, multi-state taxation and the taxation of partnerships, with particular depth in real estate, professional services, and small business consulting.

Greg works closely with business owners on the compliance and planning issues that come with operating across state lines and structuring partnerships, helping clients in real estate and professional services make sense of complex, multi-jurisdictional tax questions.

Greg is from Decatur and currently resides in Huntsville with his two boys, Blake and Cole, and a dog named Bailey. When Greg is not working, he enjoys hiking, hunting, and the outdoors.
