Corbin Parker is a manager in BMSS’s Risk Advisory and Assurance Services (RAAS) practice. Based in the Huntsville office, he leads the firm’s SOC practice and began his career in 2020 before joining BMSS in 2024.
Corbin performs SOC 1 and SOC 2 examinations for service organizations, with a focus on financial services and technology and software companies. He also provides risk advisory and consulting services that help clients identify, assess, and manage technology and information security risks. His work includes SOC readiness assessments, control design and gap analysis, risk assessments, and guidance for building compliance programs that stand up to audit. Corbin works with clients before, during, and after an engagement to help them understand what a framework requires and why it matters to their business and customers.
For Corbin, the goal of a SOC engagement goes beyond simply issuing a report. He helps service organizations build customer trust through clear, defensible examinations tailored to each organization. He approaches each engagement as a partnership and believes compliance should support and enable the business rather than slow it down. His favorite quote, “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.” by Samuel Beckett, is a good reminder that failure can and should be treated as progress toward whatever goals you’ve set, in business or in life.
Originally from Gadsden, Alabama, Corbin now lives outside of Huntsville with his wife, Paige, and their daughter, who was born in March 2026. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, tennis, technology, and Auburn sports.
