Charles joined the firm’s tax department in 2008, after spending 15 years with an international accounting firm and five years in industry. He specializes in providing tax compliance and consulting services to individual clients, as well as corporate, pass-through and nonprofit clients. In addition, he represents clients before the Internal Revenue Service and various state tax authorities. Charles has extensive experience in advising clients on acquisition planning and transaction structuring, multi-state operations and general tax research.

In his spare time, Charles volunteers annually for the Red Kettle Campaign with the Salvation Army and Stewpot Community Service. He has been a member of the Madison community for over 25 years.
