She joined the Huntsville office in 2009 and became a Member in 2019.
Ashley was drawn to accounting by her love of the “balance” aspect of the profession and the way the numbers neatly tie together. After earning her undergraduate degree in accounting, she attended law school at Duke University and practiced tax and estate law for several years before starting a family and shifting to public accounting. Professionally, Ashley is known as a dual professional, both an attorney and a CPA, in the tax and estate planning space, a combination that lets her bring legal precision to complex estate and trust matters.
Ashley grew up in Cullman and now resides in Huntsville. She has two daughters and two dogs, a French bulldog and a Cavapoo. Her favorite thing about Huntsville is that it offers the amenities of a larger city without many of the drawbacks. When she’s not working, Ashley enjoys traveling, reading, tennis, and playing the piano.
