Amy Stapler, CPA, joined BMSS in 2004 and brings more than 25 years of experience in public accounting to her clients and colleagues alike.

Amy specializes in tax and advisory services, guiding individuals and businesses through complex tax consulting, planning, and preparation. Her expertise spans a wide range of industries, including professional services, manufacturing, government contracting, real estate, non-profits, insurance, and private client services. Based in Huntsville, Amy is a Member of the firm’s tax department leadership team and leads the firm’s Research & Development team, helping innovative businesses identify and maximize credits that are often overlooked. She is passionate about delivering strategic, forward-thinking solutions that help clients navigate an ever-evolving tax landscape.

A true Alabamian, Amy grew up in Andalusia and now calls Huntsville home. She and her husband, Scott, the Athletic Director for the City of Huntsville, have three children and are deeply rooted in their community. Education, faith, and athletics are central to the Stapler family’s life.
