Tom AlbrightCPA

Tom Albright, CPA, is a Member in BMSS’s Huntsville office and leads the firm’s Client Accounting Solutions (CAS) department, advising small businesses on tax, accounting and business planning needs. With 40 years of experience, Tom works closely with business owners, particularly in professional services and real estate, to navigate tax compliance, accounting decisions, IRS matters, business transactions and tax-saving strategies.

Since joining BMSS in 2008, Tom has helped clients across a variety of industries address both day-to-day accounting needs and more complex business decisions. As head of the CAS department, he also oversees the firm’s outsourced accounting, CFO/controller advisory and client accounting services, giving business owners more reliable, timely financial information to guide decisions. His experience includes representing clients before the IRS, assisting with the sale or purchase of businesses, identifying proactive tax planning opportunities designed to support long-term financial goals, and keeping an eye on how emerging areas like healthcare and AI-driven tools are shaping the needs of the businesses he serves.

A longtime Huntsville resident, Tom moved to the area in fourth grade after his father retired from the military. He and his wife, Crissy, have two children and one grandchild. Outside of work, Tom enjoys traveling, exercising, college sports and spending time with his family.
