Ashley joined the Huntsville office in 2009 and became a Member in 2019. She currently works on individual tax planning and tax return preparation, estate and trust income tax planning and tax return preparation as well as estate and gift tax planning and tax return preparation.

Ashley was inspired to go into accounting after realizing her love for the “balance” aspect of accounting and the way that things neatly tie together. After receiving her undergraduate degree in accounting, Ashley went to law school at Duke University and then went on to practice tax and estate law for several years before starting a family and deciding to take a slightly different career path. If someone were to ask Ashley what she is known for professionally, she would say being a dual professional, both an attorney and a CPA in the tax and estate planning area.

Ashley grew up in Cullman and now resides in Huntsville. She has two daughters, Olivia and Julia, and a French bulldog, Rascal. Her favorite thing about where she lives is that Huntsville has all the amenities of a larger city, but without many of the negative aspects. When Ashley is not working, she enjoys fitness, traveling, reading and playing tennis and the piano.
