Emily RilesCPA

Emily Riles, CPA, is a senior manager in BMSS’s Birmingham office. After serving as a tax season intern in 2015, she joined the firm full-time and earned her CPA license in 2016. Emily holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Auburn University.

Emily provides audit and assurance services to clients in the manufacturing and distribution, construction, and real estate industries. Her experience includes financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and employee benefit plan audits. She works closely with clients to navigate financial reporting requirements, strengthen accounting processes and internal controls, and address issues that arise throughout the engagement.

Originally from Albany, Georgia, Emily lives in Vestavia Hills with her husband, Buddy, their twins, and their golden retriever. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and cooking. She is also a member of Grace Fellowship.
