Hannah AveryCPA

Hannah Avery, CPA, is a Senior Manager in BMSS’s Birmingham office. Since joining the firm as an intern in 2013, she specializes in tax advisory and compliance services for businesses and individuals serving clients in the manufacturing, technology, professional services, real estate and private equity industries.

Known for her reliability, dedication and client-focused approach, Hannah enjoys helping organizations navigate tax requirements while supporting their broader business goals. Hannah says she was inspired to go into accounting because “accounting is the language of business.”

Hannah grew up in Evergreen, Alabama, and Bentonville, Arkansas, and returned to Birmingham where she married her husband, John. They have a son and daughter. Hannah has a passion for traveling and has visited places such as Australia, Italy, Switzerland, Spain and the United Kingdom. When she isn’t working, she enjoys reading, hiking and playing with her dogs.
