Lauren PankeyCISA

Lauren Pankey is a manager in BMSS’s Risk Advisory and Assurance Services practice, based in the Birmingham-Riverchase office. She began her career in 2021 and recently joined BMSS, bringing several years of experience to her role.

Lauren leads client relationships and manages engagements involving compliance frameworks, including SOC 1 and SOC 2. Driven in both her career and personal life, Lauren cares deeply about others and is always looking for opportunities to grow personally and professionally. She is committed to providing high-quality service and building strong relationships with clients while also helping grow the Risk Advisory and Assurance Services practice.

A Gadsden native, Lauren moved to Vestavia Hills as a high school senior, where she helped her soccer team win the 2016 state championship and earned a soccer scholarship to Auburn University. She and her husband, Tyler, live in the Birmingham area with their son who was born in April 2026, and their 10-year-old Lab, Annie. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys running, cooking, trying new restaurants and cuisines, watching football, and spending time with family.
