Beginning October 1, 2023, the OPPAL system will be a component of My Alabama Taxes to electronically file your business personal property return.

If you (or BMSS on your behalf) previously filed via OPPAL, you should receive a paper copy of form ADV-40 from the county in which your business operates. This form will include an account number and online access code – BMSS MUST receive this information in order to electronically file returns on your behalf.

For more information, visit the AL Department of Revenue’s website or reach out to your BMSS advisor if you have any questions at (833) CPA-BMSS.
