Laura Watkins

Laura joined BMSS in 2017 and serves as the firm’s Director of Audience Development. In this role, she leads the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives across the firm’s footprint and the broader BMSS Family of Companies. Her responsibilities include strengthening client relationships and driving new business growth through integrated public relations, marketing, business development, AI initiatives, event strategy, and thought leadership efforts.
With more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, and business development, Laura brings a broad perspective to her work. Prior to joining BMSS, she worked with the Lakeshore Foundation, an Olympic and Paralympic Training Site, before transitioning into the accounting marketing profession.
Originally from Mobile, Laura has returned to Mobile Bay, where she is grateful for the opportunity to build a life with her husband and two children. Grounded in her faith, she enjoys training for half marathons, spending time by the water, reading, and preparing healthy, delicious meals for her family.
