For corporate entities registered with the Alabama Secretary of State (ALSOS), beginning January 1, 2024, the ALSOS Corporation Annual Report is no longer reported with the Annual Business Privilege Tax return filed with the Alabama Department of Revenue (ALDOR).  Because of this change, BMSS is unable to file your Alabama Annual Report(s) electronically using our tax software.

For 2024 and beyond, Alabama Annual Reports should be submitted according to the information below by you or possibly by your company’s registered agent.  Please reach out to your registered agent to confirm they can provide this service.

The ALSOS Business Services Division began processing Annual Reports for Domestic and Foreign For-Profit Corporations (C-Corporation, S-Corporations, and Qualified Subchapter S Subsidiaries) and Professional Corporations on January 1, 2024.  The filing fee is $10 per Annual Report, and the reports are due between January 1, 2024 and March 15, 2024.

Both digital and printable forms are accessible on the ALSOS Business Services section of the website.  Links to these forms are provided below for your use in filing this report.

Domestic and Foreign For-Profit Corporations (C-Corporation, S-Corporations, and Qualified Subchapter S Subsidiaries) and Professional Corporations are the only entities required to file an Annual Report.  Annual Reports from other entities will NOT be accepted.  If an Annual Report is submitted in error, the $10 filing fee will not be refunded.
