Mike GladneyCPA

Mike Gladney, CPA, is a Member in BMSS’s Ridgeland office. He joined the firm’s predecessor organization in 1989 and brings more than 40 years of public accounting experience. Mike manages audits and related assurance services for clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, oil and gas, wholesale, professional services, dealerships, and nonprofit organizations.

In 2026, Mike received the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Public Service Award, which recognizes CPAs who have made meaningful contributions to professional and civic service across Mississippi. The honor reflects his decades of leadership within the accounting profession, his church, civic organizations, and the greater Jackson community.

Mike has been deeply involved with the MSCPA throughout his career, serving as president of the Central Chapter, a member of the Board of Governors, and a member of the Accounting & Auditing and Peer Review committees. He chaired the MSCPA Peer Review Committee from 2016 until Mississippi joined Alabama and Arkansas to form Partners in Peer Review in 2019. He continues to support the profession through Partners in Peer Review with the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mike is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Petroleum Accountants Society of Mississippi.

On a personal note, Mike and his wife, Aleen, have two married daughters, a married son, a teenage daughter, and seven grandchildren. He enjoys writing, ministry and attending Ole Miss sporting events with his family. Mike has served as an elder, deacon and teacher at Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. He is also a team member on mission projects locally, nationwide and abroad. In the past, Mike served as a coach and commissioner in the Madison Ridgeland Youth Club and on its Baseball board. Additionally, he is a board member of the Faith InDeed Foundation in Madison, Mississippi.
