Matthew joined our Huntsville office in 2014. He is currently a senior associate and a manager in the tax department working primarily with tax and consulting work for closely-held businesses. Matthew specializes in tax compliance, tax planning and consulting for large, medium or small businesses, including government contractors as well as tax compliance and planning for multi-state companies.

Throughout his career, Matthew has had the opportunity to assist companies through the start-up phase and help them navigate the new tax issues they encounter. He has also had the chance to consult with clients and assist them in maximizing tax credits, such as WOTC, R&D and Small Business Health Care Tax Credit.

Matthew grew up in Decatur and currently resides in Huntsville with his wife, Kelly, and their two children, Carlie and Taylor. When Matthew is not working, he enjoys Auburn football and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
