Tampia joined the Riverchase office in 2020 and currently works as a Supervisor in the Client Accounting Services (CAS) department. She largely works with outsourced accounting and bookkeeping services. Her primary duties include business advisory services and outsourced controller and accounting work for a variety of businesses and organizations from small non-profits to large manufacturing corporations. She has experience working within clients’ networks as well as a variety of different accounting software packages.
With over 25 years of accounting and finance experience, Tampia has worked in various industries from Georgia-Pacific Corporation to smaller nonprofits such as Sav-A-Life providing accounting services. Improving organizational internal controls and financial reporting is of significant interest and enjoyment for Tampia.
Tampia was born in Arkansas but grew up in Mississippi and now currently resides in Birmingham with her husband, George. They are avid runners and enjoy spending time with their three children and friends. Tampia is a lifelong learner and strives to help others become their best selves by volunteering with various organizations for scholarship creation to impact generations to come.
