Since 1998, Jim has been the managing member of the Opelika office, where he specializes in medical practices, outsourced bookkeeping and payroll. Jim is a native of the Auburn and Opelika area and graduated from Auburn University. He began his career in accounting working with Ernst & Young in Birmingham. After leaving Ernst & Young, Jim moved back to his hometown, where he worked for four years with Lafoy and Associates before founding the Opelika firm with Hal Huguley.
With an extensive understanding of area business and accounting management, Jim regularly assists client management with business startups, growth and continuity planning. He truly understands the excitement of beginnings and the struggles of growing pains and knows how to help his clients give reality to their dreams.
When he’s not managing an accounting firm, Jim’s avid love for tennis always seems to find a way into his free time. Jim serves on his church finance committee, is married to his wife Amy and has two children.
