Jeremy started his career at BMSS in 2019, coming on board to support our IT department. In his role as the firm’s IT Help Desk, Jeremy meets a variety of technological needs, not only for our CPA firm but also for BMSS sister companies BMSS Wesson and Eversource. His day-to-day tasks include responding to employee support requests, setting up computers and work stations, network maintenance and more. In short, if a software or technical need arises, our team is sure to find Jeremy working to meet it!
Not only is Jeremy gifted in offering technical support but also in providing relational support—these two characteristics working together to make him a truly dynamic asset and one particularly attuned to helping others solve complex, often frustrating tech and software problems. Jeremy’s personable nature stems from the years he spent ministering to students at Faith Presbyterian Church and through Reformed University Fellowship International (RUF-I). Through these experiences, Jeremy learned how to better understand and serve people, and he also utilized his tech abilities to help automate data entry for better analytics of and follow up with students.
Originally from Birmingham, Jeremy and his wife, Rachel, now live in McCalla, Alabama, with their dog, Rider. When he is not at work, Jeremy loves rock climbing, fishing, hiking and enjoying music. A fun fact about Jeremy is that he has a black belt in Taekwondo. With his multifaced experiences, abilities and interests, it’s no wonder that Jeremy describes himself as “always learning.”
