David first joined BMSS in 2006 as an auditor. After leaving BMSS to work in the private sector of accounting for a few years, he returned to the firm as controller. His primary responsibilities include running the firm’s internal accounting processes to include billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Known as a driven and self-disciplined problem solver, David uses technology and business insight to help address problems and improve efficiency. He developed a tool for reporting on the efficiency and effectiveness of mechanics, which gave management the insight it needed to develop a training and reward program.
David attributes his success to God’s grace in the form of a wife who helps him value people first, parents that instilled a strong work ethic and countless mentors who have shared their wisdom concerning life, business and technology. Living in Huntsville with his wife, five children, two dogs and three cats, David never lacks for excitement (or noise) in his house. He loves spending time with his family, gardening, building or fixing things around the house, working on cars and riding motorcycles.
