- Staff Accountant
Daniel joined BMSS in 2019 as a staff accountant, after having interned and assisted in accounting at other businesses around the state. At BMSS, Daniel works in both audit and tax and is interested in pursuing more experience in tax accounting, especially for the construction and entertainment industries.
Daniel is ambitious and is known by others for being driven and determined. He is committed to providing outstanding accounting services for each client and helping them obtain peace of mind by addressing any questions and concerns they may have about their business and finances. Daniel’s persistent personality is reflected in his favorite quote, one by Babe Ruth: “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game.” This simple statement reminds Daniel to stay committed no matter the obstacle. Another figure that has inspired Daniel to achieve his goals is his first accounting instructor, Jesse Bryson. It is Mr. Bryson to whom Daniel credits his decision to become an accountant.
Daniel was raised in Pell City, Alabama, and now makes his home in Hoover. His favorite aspect of living in the Hoover/Birmingham area is the beautiful views and scenery. In his free time, Daniel loves to be outdoors, whether that entails playing golf, hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, mountain biking or simply being with others. Daniel acknowledges that he would not be where he is today without the love, support and encouragement of his parents, family and friends.
