Our People

Cheyenne Sandlin

  • Staff Accountant
  • Huntsville

Cheyenne joined BMSS as a staff accountant in 2019, after having interned with the firm during 2018. In her present role, Cheyenne provides tax preparation and assurances services to a wide variety of clients, gaining the crucial experience needed to narrow her work focus.

Her hardworking nature and cheerful, optimistic attitude are just a couple of Cheyenne’s traits that stand out to others. She strives to approach every project with the realization of how much faith the client has put in our team. “Because our work can have such a major impact on the person or family who has come to us for help,” she comments, “I hope to give my best care and focus to every project.” Originally having studied to be a veterinarian early in college, Cheyenne realized that the accounting profession was a better fit for her skills. She changed her major and has truly enjoyed her line of work ever since!

Though she decided not to pursue a career as a vet, Cheyenne has never lost her love of animals. She’s owned everything from horses to a ferret and currently owns two dogs and several fish. When the weather is nice, you can find Cheyenne in the great outdoors hiking, working out, horseback riding, paddle boarding and being out by the pool.

Cheyenne grew up in Madison, Alabama, and currently lives there with her husband, Calvin, and their dogs, Remi and Willow. Cal is in aerospace engineering, so the Huntsville area is an ideal location for them. Cheyenne and Cal are exciting to see all the new businesses move into the Huntsville area and are especially eager for the first Rocket City Trash Pandas baseball game! Cheyenne cares for BMSS’ clients no matter where they are, but she’s particularly excited to serve her childhood community and help her hometown and the surrounding areas continue to excel.
