Join us as we offer a two-part seminar event to cover Indirect Rates and Incurred Cost Preparation. You have the option to register for the first, second or both sessions.
Session One – Indirect Rates 101: Do indirect rates puzzle you? Do you get confused as to what costs are considered Overhead, Facilities, Fringe or G&A? Does the calculation of indirect rate pools seem complicated? If you answered yes to any of these questions or want to expand your knowledge of indirect rates, come to BMSS on Wednesday, May 15th, at 11:15, to gain a better understanding of all these terms. Lunch will be served at 11:15 with the class starting at 11:30.
Instructor: Joy Parker is a manager in the GovCon Department of BMSS. She has over 25 years accounting experience in a government contractor environment. She offers specific expertise in the preparation of corporate financial statements, indirect rate structures and migrating to new accounting systems. Joy has experience working with Quickbooks, GCS, Costpoint and JAMIS.
Session Two – Incurred Cost Preparation: Do you need to prepare an Incurred Cost Report for the first time this year? Even if it isn’t your first time, would you like to be better prepared for this submission? In this session we will go over ICE preparation along with some tips and tricks to make sure all your data reconciles. Come for the 2nd hour of our session on May 7th, to learn more about the ICE! If you come only for this hour, your lunch will be ready at 12:15, with the class starting at 12:30.
