Birmingham’s BMSS on Tuesday announced the firm is expanding its footprint into Huntsville, opening a new office located at 4245 Balmoral Drive.
With nearly 100 clients in Northern Alabama and three team members already living and working in the area, opening a Huntsville office is both a strategic and a practical decision.
“Opening an official BMSS office in Huntsville will allow us to be within close proximity to our clients in the area,” said Don Murphy, a managing partner. “With three team members already residing in Madison County, we believe it will allow us to strengthen our relationships in this community and provide a greater client experience to those we already serve.”
Additionally, the opening of the new office is accompanied by the announcement that Jamey Carroll has joined the firm as its newest member. A 20-year industry veteran, Carroll gained significant experience in the areas of auditing, consulting, and personal and business tax as it relates primarily to the construction, manufacturing, retail and emergency industries. Carroll will join BMSS member Cynthia Hudson, tax manager Amy Stapler and the firm’s controller, David Brown, to round out the Huntsville team.
“We’re looking forward to providing BMSS’ clients, and the community, access to our many services while giving our team members a place to flourish and grow,” founding member John Shank said.
