The BMSS Credit Union and Financial Services practice group serves credit unions, community banks, non-bank financial institutions, and insurance companies of all sizes. Financial institutions that work with BMSS have come to expect a unique level of service and support.

The professionals within our credit union and financial services practice group collectively have over 75 years of experience working with financial institutions and are currently serving over 50 financial services clients which constitute more than 3 billion in total assets.

We are committed to do everything we can to make your job easier and your financial institution more successful. We provide hands-on, pro-active involvement from experienced, knowledgeable professionals who will invest the time required to understand your financial institution.

BMSS focuses on ensuring that each team member is kept up to date with any new or developing regulatory issues. We utilize our understanding of the credit union and banking industries to provide you with insightful and constructive suggestions that can result in improved operations, management information, and operating and accounting procedures and controls.

BMSS is involved in the BDO Seidman Financial Institution Group, Community Bankers Association of Alabama, and the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU).  We are proud to have a long-standing, strong relationship with the LSCU. We participate in and have been featured speakers at LSCU conferences, work in close contact with the UBIT Steering Committee, and support local chapters of the LSCU. We have been a “preferred CPA firm” to provide services to member credit unions since 2005.
