Michael Eanes and his family live in Homewood and are members of Trinity United Methodist Church. He graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Accounting and a Master’s in Accountancy.

Michael Eanes is a senior manager with Barfield, Murphy, Shank & Smith. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Michael spent eight years at Ernst and Young in the audit and tax consulting practices working primarily on projects for large regional banks.

Michael performs auditing, tax, and consulting work for a variety of BMSS clients in the financial services, technology, manufacturing and distribution industries, among others.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Birmingham Venture Club.
