Jack Knight and his wife, Sallie, have two sons, David and John. A 1973 graduate of Samford University, he is actively involved with various ministries at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church.

Jack serves as Board President for the Arc of Jefferson County and was named "2011 Volunteer of the Year" from the Arc of Alabama.  He also serves as a Habitat for Humanity volunteer and participates in Prison Fellowship Ministry.

Jack joined BMSS in 2000 and now serves as the team leader for the Financial Services Group. He provides assurance and consulting services for credit unions, community banks, insurance carriers, and not-for-profit organizations. Jack frequently speaks to credit union, financial service and not-for-profit organizations on various accounting and fraud prevention topics.

As a Certified Valuation Analyst, Jack performs business valuation services which are commonly required in conjunction with the purchase or sale of a business, succession planning, estate and gift taxes, and initial public offerings.

He is a member of the Alabama Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts, and the Financial Institutions Group of the BDO Seidman Alliance.
