Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run - Largest Team Winner

Since 2003, BMSS has been a sponsor of the Jingle Bell Run, but our firm is actively involved in forming our team. Employees can register for the 5k run or 1 mile walk as well as solicit friends and family members to join the BMSS team. Even if employees do not participate in the run/ walk, the majority of our staff and their families come out to the Jingle Bell Run to see the celebration and realize the impact of arthritis on the community.

Each year BMSS has raised approximately $3,000 towards arthritis research. In 2009, John Shank served as Corporate Chair of the Arthritis Foundation Jingle Bell Run.  For the fourth year in a row, has won the Largest Team award.

The Arthritis Foundation is the only national not-for-profit organization that supports the more than 100 types of arthritis and related conditions.

Over 1.3 million adults in Alabama and 4,500 children suffer from arthritis. Arthritis is the #1 disability in the nation.
